Understanding that operating a pool league is often a thankless job - whether the director(s) is an owner-operator or officers elected by their players, we are passing this praise along from a local ACS-sanctioned league member in hopes that it inspires others to display appreciation of their local league operator:

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Stacy Coffey and I have been involved in the Wednesday Night League for over 5 years. I am writing this letter as a sincere thank you to Calvin, Sheila and Sam for all their efforts regarding the administration and maintenance of the League. I don't think any of us as players comprehend the struggles and frustrations that running an 18 team league can bring. I also know that you are doing it for the players and for the pool community as opposed to profit. You guys make great personal sacrifice in order to provide an excellent league experience for the 200 plus members and I don't think you hear "Thanks" enough. From the scheduling of matches, collecting envelopes (and dealing with those who don't turn them in on time...sorry again Sam), maintaining finances, maintaining stats and dealing with those "more challenging" league members, (you know who you are) I wanted to take a minute and compliment you on how well you maintain the league and say a heart felt thanks.
