FUNG EDGES NATIONAL CHAMPION ALI IN SECOND TOUR EVENT AT PRINCE SNOOKER CLUB - Friday, March 05, 2010

Defending Prince Club tour stop champion Raymond Fung has defeated the reigning United States National Snooker Champion, Ahmed Ali, to secure victory at Event 2 of the 2010 United States Snooker Association National Tour at the Prince Snooker Club in Brooklyn, New York.

SIU SHINES IN FIRST TOUR EVENT ON THE 2010 USSA NATIONAL SNOOKER TOUR AT EMBASSY CLUB - Wednesday, February 24, 2010

The United States Snooker Association (USSA) initiated its 2nd Annual USSA National Snooker Tour with the first stop on the Tour at Embassy Billiards Club - directed by USSA director Richard Ham - in San Gabriel, CA, February 16-19. The event enjoyed a 12-player field. A handicap format was adopted for this Tour Event played as a single-elimination knockout competition, which featured the winner of last year's Tour Event at the Embassy Billiards Club, Mei Yi Fei. Yi Fei had the lowest handicap at -45, indicating that he was the favorite for the event. A former United States National Snooker Champion also in the competition, Paul Kimura, had a handicap of -23.

United States Snooker Association Announces Change of Dates & Venue on 2010 National Snooker Tour - Tuesday, February 09, 2010

Please note that the original dates and venue for the first stop on 2010 USSA National Snooker Tour have been changed from Master Billiards in Long Island City, NY this weekend - February 13-14, to the new Club 147 in Brooklyn, NY, on the weekend of April 10-11. Embassy Club in San Gabriel, CA will now host the inaugural stop on the 2010 Tour - Feb. 16-19.

Referee Class To Be Conducted at 2010 ACS Nationals in Las Vegas - Monday, February 08, 2010

A national referee training and certification class will be conducted at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, June 6-June 8, 2010 – during the 2010 National Championships being produced by the American CueSports Alliance (ACS).

ACS League Members Gain Discount to big Treasure Island Casino Event in Minnesota - Wednesday, September 02, 2009

Please find attached the flier for the December tournament at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Red Wing, MN promoted by MN ACS President and Chalk Talk Production’s John Stich. This event is open to ALL players, with ACS league members receiving a discount on their entry fees if they are currently sanctioned ACS. John Stich will be holding another event at Treasure Island April 1-4, 2010 offering the same discounts to ACS players, making it even more worthwhile to be sanctioned! ACS members will save their sanctioning fees simply by playing in these events.

MN ACS Announces Events for MN/WI/SD/ND League Players - Monday, August 24, 2009

I just wanted to send you a quick note about some exciting things that are happening this year in Pool.  First of all, I just got the approval for two pool tournaments at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Red Wing, MN.  These events will be open to League Players only, and we will be offering $5 per event discounts to players who are ACS sanctioned. I am running this event through my business, Chalk Talk Promotions, but as state president of the ACS, I am also trying to encourage everyone to get ACS Sanctioned.  There are also two tournaments - state championship events, already scheduled for Northern Lights Casino in Walker, MN. In total, if your league sanctions ACS, your players will be eligible for all four events and over $40,000 in added money this year. Here is a list of the events with some dates and information:
